Daily Monitoring Reports

Testing once is good; testing on a schedule is monitoring. Testzilla can run a suite of tests on a recurring schedule and email you a report each time it finishes, so you find out your agent regressed from a scheduled run rather than from an angry customer.

This guide sets up a daily monitoring loop: a scheduled run plus an emailed report.

Schedule a recurring run

Every project and channel has a Scheduled section listing its recurring runs. From there you create a schedule that runs that project’s or channel’s tests on a repeating cadence.

1. Open the project or channel you want to monitor.

2. In the Scheduled section, add a schedule and pick a recurrence — for example daily at 5:00 AM — and a time zone.

3. Save it. The section shows the schedule, its next run time, and an enabled toggle you can flip off any time. You can edit or delete it later from the same place.

Scheduled runs flow through the normal queue and cost credits exactly like a manual run, so make sure the scope you schedule is the set of tests you actually want billed on each cycle.

Nightly regression gate

A common pattern is a nightly run of your core suite so any prompt or model change from the day shows up by morning. Keep the scheduled scope tight and fast (LLM Chat tests are cheapest) for a high-frequency sanity check, and run the expensive phone tests less often.

Get the report by email

Turn on the email report option for the schedule and add recipients. When the scheduled run finishes, Testzilla generates an AI report for that scope and emails it out. The email includes:

• A summary of how the run went.
• The issues found, with likely root causes.
• Proposed fixes.
• A per-test quality breakdown and deep links back into the app.

If you do not set recipients, the report goes to the account owner’s email.

Two kinds of email: reports and alerts

Scheduled runs email a per-run report to the recipients you set, every time the run completes. On top of that, Testzilla sends score-drop alert emails automatically whenever a channel’s health score falls significantly, without any extra setup. Each alert includes direct links to the Workspace, Login, Project, and Channel involved, so you know exactly where to log in and what to look at. For trends over time, open the Reports page for the channel or project.
